Hey there, I’m Mark!

A few things have led me to this pursuit of personal and organizational excellence. Twenty years ago I began working with high performing individuals, aiding them in their achievement of aspirational goals. Ten years ago I began building business and political organizations, guiding them in scaling up their fundamental operations and catalyzing their accomplishments. Each of these roles taught me, at the personal and organizational levels, that holistic, compassionate, leadership & management are the foundations of growth and success.

I’ve also experienced what poor management does to both company and individual morale. Too often the primary focus of an organization is on the product, what went wrong or what went right. I believe that any organization’s product is but a symptom of its people, their interactions, and the culture that is the source of any product’s success or failure. Instead of focusing on the symptom, go right to the source and address the root cause.

This path has also been shaped by constantly investing in learning and researching the latest peer reviewed science of best practice management and organizational psychology. A phrase I’m fond of using is “the cost of an opinion is evidence” and in-kind I like to have ample citations of peer reviewed science for the recommendations and guidance I provide.

You don’t have to take my word for it…
